The FNB Market Masters Programme empowers 30 early-stage entrepreneurs, with a focus on 51% Black-owned businesses, to improve their market and funding readiness. We aim to help them scale their businesses, access new markets and unlock opportunities.

How long will the FNB Market Masters Programme run?
The programme is set to run for a total of 18 months, with the Business Development Support being implemented in phases as detailed below:
Phase 1: 12 months - Market Readiness and Investment Readiness support for 30 businesses.
Phase 2: 6 months - Financial Readiness support for 30 businesses.
Who can apply for the programme?
The programme is only open to South African citizens with businesses that operate within South Africa's borders.
To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Entrepreneurs aged 18-33 with a passion, skill, and resilience, actively running a business.
- Business is established, growth ready, and operating for 2-5 years.
- At least 51% Black-owned and managed under the BBBEE Act.
- Show good financial health or the ability to achieve it within six months.
- Annual turnover between R250 000 and R5 million.
- Demonstrate potential for job growth.

How many entrepreneurs will be accepted into the programme?
A total of 30 eligible businesses will be selected to participate in the programme.
How will programme meetings, webinars and workshops be hosted?
With a blended workshop approach, the programme will hold webinars and workshops in-person and online.
How much time will I need to commit to the programme?
Time commitments will vary from month to month as various interventions roll out during the programme. On average, this is around 10 hours per month and includes financial coaching, pitching sessions, online workshops, mentorship, and other program interventions.
Webinars and workshops happen during weekdays - participants must ensure they are available for these sessions since they are required throughout the programme.
