The highly anticipated FNB Wealth Series took place at the FNB Portside office in Cape Town on 29 February 2024, just days after Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana had delivered the 2024 National Budget and President Cyril Ramaphosa announced 29 May as the date for the 2024 General National and Provincial Elections.
Adroitly chaired and moderated by experienced broadcaster and financial journalist Gugulethu Mfuphi, the event featured two core panel discussions. Panel one focused on global investment trends as well as political and economic insights, and panel two narrowed the discussion still further by exploring individual offshore diversification strategies amidst local and global uncertainty.
The two panels set the stage for the final event of the day, a keynote address by global futurist, scenario planner and expert on the future of work Graeme Codrington, who challenged the audience to find their inner 'anti-fragile' amidst world-wide turbulence.
