Update your OTP Details

 

Use this function to maintain the One-Time PIN (OTP) details for yourself and/or your Secondary Users.

 

 

 

Where can you maintain OTP delivery preferences?

  • Update via Online Banking
    • If you are accessing your Online Banking profile via a verified browser, you can maintain the cellphone numbers for both your Primary / Secondary OTP delivery options for yourself and/or your Secondary User/s.

 

  • Update via an FNB ATM
    • If you do not have a verified browser and you are in possession of a Chip and PIN card, you can update your cellphone number  via an FNB ATM.

 

  • Update via an FNB Branch
    • If you do not have a verified browser and you are in possession of a Chip and PIN card, you can update your cellphone number  via a Digital Zone terminal at an FNB Branch.

 

 

Important Information about OTP Preferences

  • For your security, the preferred delivery mechanism for OTP notifications is via SMS; should you require your delivery mechanism to be an email address, please contact Digital Banking Support.

 

 

How to Change your OTP Details via Online Banking (Verified Device)

  1. Select Menu and then select Online Banking Settings.
  2. Select the Online Banking Settings view.
  3. Select Security > OTP > Change.
  4. Your current OTP details will be displayed.
  5. Amend your OTP details as required.
  6. Click on Submit.
  7. A confirmation page will be displayed.
  8. Check that this information is correct and, if necessary, click Edit to make any amendments.
  9. Select Confirm.
  10. Approve with Smart inContact or using your Card Number and PIN.
  11. A results page will display the status of your request.
  12. Click on Finish to complete the process.

 

 

 

 

How to Change your OTP Details at an FNB ATM

  1. Insert card.
  2. Enter PIN.
  3. Select More Options.
  4. Select More Services.
  5. Select Change Online OTP Details and follow the prompts.
