Online Banking User Guide

 

For your convenience, a step by step User Guide is available for all functionality on Online Banking.

 

Bank Identifier Codes (BIC)

 

If you are making an ENCR payment, you will need to enter a Bank Identifier Code (BIC).

A BIC is made up of 7 alpha-numeric digits and is used to identify banks and financial institutions globally. The BIC is made up of a 2-digit Country Code, 2-digit Location Code and a 3-digit Branch Code

 

 

Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) Payments

 

When you make payments to the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) it is imperative that the  Taxpayer Reference Number is captured in the correct format. Please refer to the ITAS User Guide for assistance.

Verifying Digital Users

Existing Users


Existing users that are not yet verified will be prompted to update their Personal Details online and may be required to submit supporting documents to the bank for verification.

New Users

The way that new users are created has changed; this includes the introduction of a registration process for new users. Users that are not KYC compliant will be required to submit supporting documents to the bank for verification.

 

 

 

Guidelines for New Users

 

Step 1 – Register for Online Banking

 

As a new User, you will receive a notification containing a unique Security Code; the notification will direct you to go to the Home page and register for Online Banking.

 

  1. Go to the Home page.
  2. Select Register.
  3. Select the option to 'Register with an ID number and Security Code’.
  4. Enter the Security Code provided in the notification and then enter your ID Details.
  5. Enter/Update your Personal Details as required.
  6. Create your Login Credentials, i.e. Username and Password.

 

 

Step 2  – Log in to Online Banking

 

Once you have completed the Registration process and log in to Online Banking  for the first time, you may be prompted to submit supporting documents to the bank for verification.
