New Users


When adding a new user, the user will receive a notification containing a unique Registration Code. The notification will direct the new user to go to the FNB home page and register for Online Banking Enterprise™; the registration process will require the user to verify their identity (KYC).

 

Users that are not KYC compliant will be required to submit supporting documents to the bank for verification.

 


Guidelines for New Users

 

Step 1 – Register for Online Banking Enterprise™

 

As a new User, you will receive a notification containing a unique Security Code; the notification will direct you to go to the FNB home page and register for Online Banking Enterprise™.

 

  • If you bank with FNB in your personal capacity and you have the Banking App linked to your personal profile, the Security Code will be sent to your Messages in the App.
  • If you are not FNB banked, the Security Code will be sent to you via SMS.

 

 

Note!

If you do not complete the registration process within 24 hours of receiving the notification, the Security Code will expire, and you will need to ask an Administrator to Resend a Security Code. ​
The Administrator can Resend a Security Code by following the steps listed below:

  1. Click on Profiles and then select User Dashboard.
  2. Select Total Users and then select the Request Status view.
  3. Click on the Resend Code option for the respective user.
  4. A results page will display the status of your request.
  5. Click on Finish to complete the process.

 

 

How to Register

 

1.Go to the Home page.

2.Select Register.

3.Select the option to 'Register with an ID number and Security Code’.

4. Enter the Security Code provided in the notification and then enter your ID Details.

5. Enter/Update your Personal Details as required.

6. Create your Login Credentials, i.e. Username and Password.



Step 2 – Download the FNB Banking App

 

Download the latest version of the FNB Banking App from your App store, and link your profile, using the new Username you create during the registration process.

 

 


Step 3 – Log in to Online Banking Enterprise™

 

Open the FNB website via your PC browser, enter your User name and Password, and then click Login.

 

  • If the bank was able to verify your details, you will be prompted to confirm the New Device Linking Request and then to create a 4-digit PIN; this PIN will need to be entered on the Banking App when you are required to authenticate your login and/or authorise requests. It is critical that you remember this PIN!

  • Note: It is important to check that the device displayed in the linking request is the device that you have just linked to the Banking App.

 

If the bank is unable to verify your personal details, you may be prompted to provide additional personal information and/or to upload supporting documents to verify your identity.

 

Have the following (individually) scanned documents available when you log in for the first time:

 

·   Identity Document / Passport

·   Proof of Address (no older than 3 months)

 


Important information regarding the verification process

 

  • You will not be able to access your profile until the bank has completed the verification process.

  • The verification process may take up to 5 working days.

  • While your documents are being verified by the bank, the screen prompting you to upload your supporting documents will continue to be displayed every time you log in to Online Banking Enterprise™.

  • Unless an FNB agent contacts you and requests you to upload further supporting documents, please do not upload your supporting documents more than once as this will delay the current verification process.

  • Once your details have been verified by the bank, this screen will no longer be displayed, and you will be able to bank as usual.
